Star Parker is the founder and president of the Center for Urban Renewal and Education(CURE), a public policy think tank that promotes market-based solutions to fight poverty.
Before God saved her, she lived a dangerous life of criminal and sexual activity. Being on welfare for seven years, Star would use abortion as her form of birth control. “I got caught up in the lies of the Left, including their lie about abortion; and I continued to go in and out of abortion clinic after clinic. It wasn’t until after the fourth time that I had a gut instinct way down deep inside that there must be something wrong with killing your offspring.”
Since Star’s Christian conversion, many nationally acclaimed advocates would agree that she has established herself as a thoughtful and energetic leader in Washington, DC. As one of the most vocal advocates for the pro-life movement, Star shares her life story and testimony on multiple major network shows including FOX News and NBC’s Today Show.
