Volunteer OpportunitiesVolunteer Application

Be a Volunteer

Elizabeth’s New Life Center thrives with the help of enthusiastic, caring volunteers who give their time, energy, and talents to support our cause. Our volunteers span all age groups, perform a variety of services, and lend their experience and expertise days and evenings, weekdays and weekends, regularly or occasionally, depending upon their availability.

Administration

We have various administrative duties which can include accounting, information technology or other tasks like answering phones. Most of these opportunities would occur during working hours, Monday through Friday.

Board Member

We are always looking for qualified board members to advise our organization on best practices finances, strategic initiatives and more. If you feel a calling for servant leadership, ENLC may have a spot for you. Board members attend bi-monthly meetings and special events throughout the year, as well as market and support the organization.

Boutique Assistant

We operate five boutiques that serve our clients. Your time would be spent helping display and receive donations and helping clients as they shop. Hours would depend on the specific location.

Cleaning

Our Women’s Centers have the need for weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and even quarterly cleaning. If you like to clean and want to help our life-saving mission, we have a spot for you.

Women's Mentorship

Women’s mentorship is a great way to serve our clients face to face. We are looking for men and women volunteers, and you do not have to have children to share your experience!
Your commitment needs to be at least 2 hours each week during times that your preferred Women’s Center location is open. For a list of our Women’s Center hours visit https://womenscenterohio.com/locations/.

College Intern

Does your field of study require you to complete an internship? Contact us and we’ll help determine the best fit for your educational interests.

Maintenance

If you are a skilled tradesman or a reliable handyman, we could use your talents at our various locations for routine maintenance or even one-off projects.

Men's Mentorship

A male mentor/consultant would be at one of our 8 locations in anticipation of a male client coming into the center. The consultant would be responsible for meeting with male clients and talking them through the options of their partner’s pregnancy including adoption, abortion, and parenting.

Most importantly, the mentor/consultant would serve as a male figure to invest in the client and talk them through their situation as well as entering intake.

We also offer pre-recorded education classes and the male consultant is needed to guide clients as they watch these classes and discuss the topics around fatherhood.

Many of our male clients have never had a father figure in their life.  The male mentor/consultant can play a key role in shaping the client’s perception about fatherhood and become an encouraging influence as the client chooses to become a father and beyond.

You do not need to be a father to serve our clients in this way! Your commitment needs to be at least 2 hours each week during times that your preferred Women’s Center location is open. For a list of our Women’s Center hours visit https://womenscenterohio.com/locations/.

Post-Abortive Support and Healing

You would be trained to lead in the HOPE curriculum, which helps men and women find healing after an abortion.

Prayer Support

Our most desired volunteer service is prayer. Our organization depends upon the Grace of God to serve our clients; your prayerful support is critical. If you sign up, you will receive a monthly list of topics to pray for. When you sign up, you will receive a list of prayer intentions monthly, either via email or snail mail.

Student Volunteer (age 18 and under)

If you have a heart to serve (or even a school requirement for service hours), we can use your help!

Special Events

We can use your help at the various special events we hold throughout the year, all over the area. Typically we’d need your assistance in the evening, perhaps to help set up and tear down tables, etc.

Our offices are closed on the weekends and major holidays.
Our Administration office is generally open from 8:30-4:30.
