Matching Gifts: Double the Impact of Your Donation
Did you know that many employers match charitable contributions made by their employees? Some also match contributions made by retirees and spouses of employees. If your company has a matching gift program, the impact of your donation may be doubled, even tripled! It’s like free money for your favorite nonprofit!
How Does it Work?
My Employer Has A Matching Gift Program
If your employer already has a matching gift program, requesting a matching gift should only take a few minutes. As the donor, you must initiate the process with your employer either by accessing your company’s matching gift page online or by filling out and submitting a paper match form provided by your employer or through an electronic submission process.

I’m Not Sure My Employer Has a Matching Gift Program
If you’re not sure your company has a matching gift program, no problem. The quickest and easiest way to find out is to contact your company directly. We recommend starting with your manager or supervisor first. They may ask you to contact your company’s Human Resources department.
Your employer will need to verify our tax-exempt status, so you’ll need ENLC’s TAX ID number, which is 31-1381901.
